PRESENTATION

Estran is a dance film directed by Olivier Arsenault adapted from Èbe, a choreographic installation developed around five accordion-robots with a choreographic solo anchored in flamenco, co-created by Sarah Bronsard (choreography) and Patrick Saint-Denis (audio and robotic art). To bring the work closer to its source inspiration, Estran invites the spectator into an intertidal zone. The dancer and the accordions converse with this vast environment, cohabitating with life forms that swell, subside, and disappear to the rhythm of the tides. Playing between different tempos and scales, Estran is an intimate dive into a choreographic world of micro movement and vivid amplitude.
